La préservation de l’environnement est aujourd’hui une préoccupation majeure pour toutes les générations.
Dans ce sens, le Porquerolles Film Festival a pour ambition :
de récompenser des œuvres cinématographiques qui mettent en scène la nature et ses écosystèmes.
d’être une vitrine de réflexion où enjeux climatiques et environnementaux côtoient la mise en abîme de ces enjeux par la poésie du cinéma.
d’éveiller les consciences face à la transition écologique, challenge crucial du XXIè siècle.
Le Porquerolles Film Festival propose un modèle contextuel qui s’inspire du lieu où il est né : une île connectée à la nature et à un environnement préservé.
Le Porquerolles Film Festival est post-Covid compatible : un vaste lieu en plein air et une jauge limitée à 500 personnes lors des projections.
La deuxième édition du Porquerolles Film Festival, sur le thème de l’Océan, aura lieu du 23 au 28 août 2021.
Il propose une sélection de films inédits (fictions et documentaires) 2020-2021, ainsi que des tables rondes et conférences.
La sélection des films en compétition ainsi que la composition du jury seront dévoilées en Juin 2021.
Tous les films seront présentés en projection publique, sur réservation, pendant toute la durée du festival.
Lors de la cérémonie de clôture, le jury du festival annoncera le palmarès.
